Muppet-XAI is a multimodal python library for explaining and interpreting Pytorch models through perturbation-based XAI methods. It Supports all data modalities (including images, tabular data, time series, ...).

This module implements SegRISE, an adaptation of the RISE (Randomized Input Sampling for Explanation) method specifically designed for semantic segmentation tasks. Unlike the original RISE which was developed for classification and uses class probabilities as weights, SegRISE uses the Dice similarity coefficient to measure the overlap between original and perturbed segmentation outputs. |

This module implements Score-CAM, a gradient-free method for generating class activation maps that overcomes limitations of gradient-based CAM approaches. Instead of using gradients to weight feature maps, Score-CAM evaluates the contribution of each activation map by using it as a mask and measuring the resulting change in the model's confidence. |

This module implements SHAP, a game-theory based approach to explain machine learning model predictions. SHAP assigns each feature an importance value (Shapley value) that represents its contribution to the difference between the current prediction and the average prediction across the dataset. |
